PASADENA, Md. – Former Anne Arundel County Executive and longtime political figure John R. Leopold of Pasadena, Maryland is pleased to announce the launch of his official website. The new website, which includes Leopold’s biography and highlights his many political accomplishments, serves as way to connect further with the community. The site also features community news and events, a photo gallery, and a contact page so that local residents are easily able to reach out to Leopold with any inquires or concerns. As Anne Arundel County Executive from 2006-2013, John R. Leopold accomplished a number of significant tasks and projects, including reducing more than $70 million in government spending, increasing property tax relief for qualified seniors under the Homeowners Tax Credit Program, and installing more than 2,000 new and upgraded street lights to reduce crime. He also budgeted infrastructure funding for the boat ramp and fishing pier at Fort Smallwood Park, the Eastern District Police Station, the Lake Shore Fire Station, and the Field of Dreams athletic facility at Lake Waterford Park for individuals with disabilities.
